Which editions do Windows 10 PRO x64 DVD contain?

Hi all, hope there is an expert there can answer this, I have looked all over the net for these answers without any luck.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 DVD contained all editions of windows and as far as I remember you could also use it to install windows in 32bit - so basically an ALL IN ONE DVD.

    The questions:
Do Windows 10 PRO x64 DVD also contain all editions below?

And can it be used to install a 32Bit of windows?

Or do I have to make a DVD for each version of windows I want to upgrade/clean install?

Can the english version of Windows 10 PRO x64 be used to upgrade a danish(or any other language) version of windows 7 Home, PRO or ultimate?

I have some laptops that came with 32bit Windows 10 enterprise installed, when I bought them second hand - how do I get them upgraded to windows 10?

once you download the creation tool of your choice, 32 or 64 bit, it will then give you options to install, upgrade or make a dvd.

download the tool once, put it on a memory stick and then take it around to all your computers, pick options as needed.

Hi Terry, yeah I already have the tool, but that was not the questions. I would like to have one OFFLINE All in one DVD like there were for windows 7 - if that is possible. I'm soon going to the Philippines for 5.5 months and the internet there is awfull.

One of the options of the creation tool is to make a disc, be aware though that I guess Microsoft just pulled the November update of Windows 10 via the creation tool because in their words they want to release it gradually to the public.

Ok, I think you missunderstand what I'm asking for in the first post - I know how to use the tool, but I'm not interested in the tool - I already have both 32bit and 64bit iso files in english and danish, Pro versions - all take up about 2-4GB which is too much - I like simple solutions.

I'm IT technician and consultant through 25 years, and know how to find info on the net - what I can't seem to find is answers to the questions in the first post. MS is keeping this info close to the vest. So I were hoping someone here knew the answers.

Some do and some don't depending on where/how the ISO was downloaded from. To find out, find the install.wim or install.esd files on the DVD. It will be in either /sources, /x86/sources, or /x64/sources. You might have two, x86 and x64. Once you find the install.wim or install.esd file from an elevated command prompt run:
    DISM.exe /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:I:\sources\install.wim /Index:1

The path in red will be to your install.wim or install.esd file. That will tell you all the info about the first image contained in the install.wim file. Keep increasing the index number until you get an error. All of the indexes within the .wim file are what is available for installation.

Depends on the results of the dism command above. That will tell you x86 (32 bit) or x64 (64 bit). DVD's that can install both usually have two folders x32 and x64 with separate /sources and install.wim files in them.

You can make a 4 in 1 DVD - it will have to be double layer, though.

    Nope. Same base language only.

Your enterprise Windows installed on those laptops is illegal for the company to sell. To be legal you will have to either purchase Windows 7/8/8.1 and upgrade or purchase Windows 10.

Thank you for the answers, I have now made a windows 10 Pro Danish 64bit USB stick with rufus and that works. I also have all the other versions on my windows 7 32bit laptop, and can remake any usb with rufus.

BTW to those wondering - you can make a 64bit Usb on a 32bit os - if you use rufus!

    The current Media Creation Tool:
    Windows 10

unchecking the recommended version option and selecting your language and both 32-bit/64-bit option will get you a 4 in 1 installation image: Windows 10 Home and Pro in 32 bit and 64 bit each.

Yeah, but everytime you use that tool you have to be connected to the internet, its kinda stupid that the tool don't have an offline option to write usb or dvd. Rufus can be used offline as long as you already have the ISO files.

The tool has the capability and options to make a bootable USB flash drive and to save an ISO file.
