Something is broken. Won't load properly, won't restart...

    I can't use the search box or the Start menu. Can't click Start and can't type in the search box.

    I do have a ton of errors in the System event log. I'll google some of those in case they point anywhere. Hopefully it's not a hardware problem...

    Can you open Action Center? (by the clock) you can get to settings from there.

    So in Event Viewer I happened across a couple errors mentioning stuff about TPM not working right. I went into BIOS and found TPM was on so I turned it off. Rebooted and everything came up perfectly and is working great.

    No idea what the heck made it decide to break today when it's been like that the whole time I've had the laptop but it seems happier now. Time to go bang my head against the wall a few times. *sigh*

    Well, false alarm unfortunately. It worked fine for a couple days and today it's back to not working again.
    I'm attaching the Event Viewer files in case anyone can tell what's going on with them...
