Media Creation Tool goes back to build 10240!

I just noticed today that this page:
    Windows 10

Which used to look like this (yesterday, I believe):

Has gone back to the tool that gets build 10240:

    Code:

    What's up with this?

I noticed this too. There was a question posted around 8:30-9:00 about whether MCT gave latest build, was about to answer yes, thought I'd confirm and I saw that qualifying sentence.

    Anybody speculate why this happened?

BTW I noticed last night that the update is no longer offered on my laptop, even when hitting the check for updates I'm told there are no updates for this PC.

That said, I was having all sorts of problems in trying to get the update to install on my laptop, even in trying both the ISO and MCT tool created disk. In fact I was going to do a clean install today on the laptop. I think I'll have to hold off now as it seems to me Microsoft has actually pulled the update.

In the meantime I'm running the update just fine on my desktop.

The LINKs now downloads EXE version 10240 -

But people can confirm by checking the files version properties of the EXE..
