Hi sn00ker, able to share the ISOs with me? I'm trying to make ISO from the Media Creation Tool but it just gives me the initial release instead of the 1511 update.

The only "problems" I experienced was that 1) many of my tweaks were reverted to what they were upon build 10240 clean install - most notably fast startup being re-enabled and 2) the added annoying bug of my airplane mode button being lit in the notifications tray when off - have to cycle it on and off (momentarily interrupting wifi) before it will stay unlit to indicate off.

I'm not a fan of having to restore my tweaks twice a year if that is how often that type of "upgrade" will continue to occur.
Kenn, none of my options or changes, I have made, were changed. For power options, the only tweak I have is I have disabled hibernation(through Magician)so fast startup cannot be reactivated(I have a Samsung SSD like you, and it starts more than fast enough, even though I leave ALL startup programs on, so they open faster after booting to desktop).

Edit: one thing did get changed: in Advanced Settings >> Startup and Recovery >> Automatically Restart was turned on. I like to keep it off, so I can go to UEFI recovery(My Macrium boot option fixes everything) and it writes a log.

Last week I did a clean install to the latest 1511 build and I still have the iso saved. I have 3 questions

    1. Should I uninstall and go back or leave it as is it for now?

    2. Will people who have installed the 1511 iso receive fixes for the problems it has caused?

    3. If I revert back to the old iso then will it upgrade to the new 1511 build straight after or has it been removed until fixed?

Leave it, the only change that has been, is that Microsoft now prefers to issue the upgrade/update via Windows Update(as the new update system was designed for from the get go) instead of an ISO. The content is the same.

I'm working on uploading to a site as we speak English USA only versions . Also from my understanding is 1511 will still be available through Windows Update process, it might take some time to see it available when one does a system update scan

BTW let me know which bit you want

It was posted in another thread. I forget who posted it first though. Microsoft may block it eventually, so I'd recommend downloading an ISO to anybody that doesn't already have one.

The ISO files for version 1511 are still available for MSDN subscribers.
