Here's a screenshot showing what is on the USB Thumb drive created by MCT when I selected USB and Both from the choices list:
    Attachment 49736
It also shows the version of the update. I used the Media Creation Tool I downloaded on 11/13/2015, have seen the posts it has reverted back to 10240. I also have the the updates for 10586.11 on it.

Which is why I specified the exact date I got the tool and the image shows the date it was created/modified.

It seems to me the download was changed due to some problems people are having with 10586.

It's a bit scary, really, to think there could be a potential security hole in my system as I stand by waiting for some kind of update to fix whatever is going on. Why else would they take down the ISOs? Those didn't have the same installation bugs the Windows Update versions had.

Yeah, I too have the update on my desktop; however, my laptop wouldn't take it, no matter what I did. Hmmm... maybe my laptop was trying to tell me something :)

As to why 10586 would get pulled, a search in the Microsoft Community: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/s...cussion,Wiki/1
