Local account or Microsoft ID login? Did you by chance turn UAC off? Did you verify your identity? Settings > Accounts > Your e-mail and accounts > Verify your identity on this PC. If you have that option will not be visible.
What option? EDIT: I see what you mean and i have it verified but I don't see what this has to do with our problem

I have a verified microsoft account, UAC enabled. Hardly any settings messed with, pretty much a clean install on a windows PC. Nvidia drivers is about all I have.. Not sure how we are going to figure this out.

Some options are locked out until you verify your ID. I don't know all of them but some customization options are. Just wanted to rule it out. Logging in with a local account has restrictions to. Store won't work, Apps won't work etc. Turning UAC off can cause some weird things to happen too, depending on how you disable it. Just running through things I think might throw a wrench into things.

I had a local account and UAC off. Store worked alright, so as these settings. As soon as I installed the drivers it went bad.

Well, it's really sad. I would clean install again and start over but what you are saying is after the update it will be broken again..

I tried on another windows user (microsoft verified) and it still wasn't working.

I don't really need these 3 settings. All I want to do is change where my store apps are download and installed. They default on my 60GB ssd. Maybe any way to change this location somewhere else or in the registry?

You could start over, clean install and check the Defer Updates option. That big updates doesnt seem to bring essential stuff anyways and your security updates would still go through.

Then a couple of months from now you can update if by then MS releases a fix or someone finds a fix.

I'll do it like that until something comes up.

Yeah, I might do after trying some things to fix it. I will post here if I figure anything out.

    Hi,
I am facing exactly the same problem. I have a MacBook Pro running the Windows 10586.11 Build
and would need to get to the setting add Optional Feature...I need to install the Graphic tools feature.
With the 10240 Build I had no problem, but now with this Build the Graphic tools feature seems to be
    uninstalled.
Do you know if there is any possibility to install them with the command line maybe? or have you fixed the problem already?

As this is the only post I have found regarding this problem, it seems to be very specific.

    Thanks and greets,
    Hannes
