Let's see M$ simply release Windows 7 as Windows 11. Two things I suggest they modify.
1. Remove the libraries
2. Keep the right-click Menu on the Start Button as we see it in W10.
Yeah, that's the ticket for PC users.

There's no other so simple, customizable and flexible system to handle for instance thousands of media files and documents as the Windows Libraries. For me the Libraries is the single most important feature of Windows, I would be totally lost without them. Thank you Microsoft for this remarkable file handling feature.
The reason I jumped to Windows 8 already in its early beta days, discarding Windows 7, was the the All Apps screen and Start Screen with its tiles which made using my computer in general and apps, programs and files in particular so incredibly easy that I had difficulties to really understand how easy using Windows had become. Windows 10 took it even a step further, bringing this clever system directly to start menu. I thank Microsoft for that, too.

you are running win7 64bit HP and obviously enjoying it .we are using win8.1 and win10 prievew .and enjoying it ,maybe take the time to use both OS's like most posters here and you to will come to like it like us !!
Libraries....??? Chuck 'em in the toilette. I don't need ms telling me where to save stuff. Seriously, I am completely capable of deciding where I want to put stuff. Doy...
As is so often the case when reading these "I don't need it" posts, also in this case your post clearly shows that you have not the faintest idea of what Windows libraries are and how they work, that you simply do not understand them.
Of course I know that not everyone is capable to understand some even the most basic features of Windows. I will try to put this as simple as possible in order to try to get even you to understand: Windows Libraries do not decide where the files are saved, the user does. Libraries just collect the information and show everything in one place.

Storage Spaces are a great addition to Windows. If you have a few smaller volumes you can combine these into larger aggregate compound storage spaces and unlike RAID the volumes can be of all different sizes too. These days people often have loads of different size"legacy" HDD's around -- great for making large multi-media libraries etc without having to worry what happens when an individual HDD gets full either.
You can also use these as Software RAID as well, Great feature by Ms. Introduced in Win 8 but carried on into Win 10. Not available in Win 7 and earlier. IMO much better than Libraries.
