    File Access Denied

I get the following message when I try to 'save, 'save as' or 'paste':

    File Access Denied

You require permission from Unix User\nobody to make changes to this file.

I have no idea was to what causes this nor have I made any security changes. Any ideas?

Try "taking ownership" of the folder of the program. Take Ownership - Add to Context Menu in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

Yes. First thing I tried but didn't solve the problem.

I don't really know what to say. I would uninstall the program and reinstall it and that might possibly reset the permissions.

If you are trying to save things in the system directories like Program Files, then you need to run the program as Administrator.
