Black screen with cursor, after doing sfc \scannow

Earlier on my Win 10 computer I did a command prompt, sfc\ scannow.
So I waited for the scan which fixed a problem/corrupt file.
Afterwards it said computer needed restarting so I did just that, but after the windows logo the screen just stays black with the cursor showing.
Ctrl alt del to bring up task manager etc does nothing at all. Tried simply restarting pc again but it's the same every time.

    Solved-
On a different computer I downloaded the Windows 10 ISO file and burned on to a blank DVD.
I got into the BIOS to change the boot order to CD/DVD first, then inserted the dvd.
(you DO get the option to keep or delete your files)
The Repair option didn't work, but using a Restore Point did.
My files-documents, pictures etc WERE kept.

If the cursor in the middle that is where you entered your password to get into windows 10
once entered press enter and that should allow you in.

    Still needing help with this.

Two things, the startup music doesn't occur, no normal beep comes from pressing Numlock on/off.
Is your speaker symbol showing on task bar, if it has a red x then just click on it and should take you into sounds where you can alter it and get some sounds up
