Everything in a operating has a cost until the day Microsoft no longer supports the operating system.

If Microsoft put everything that 2 out 10 people wanted the system would be so big you would need 500 GB free space to install it. Then think of the download time.

Only Microsoft knows for sure but for the most part they go by Me too's
You could spend a month or two and never read all of the feedback most of which is incomprehensive to me anyway
Some are just too freaking long and ramble on....

Cheers for the last few replies, I will continue sending feedback when I see it, but have already sent mine and used the Me Too on things I would like changing

Going to be interesting in a few months to see what feedback they have listened to

Yep each new build repeat the feedback thing,
Use good intro titles and keep it short and to the point
Post anything you posted as new and give us the title or starting text and we'll check it out and jump on board

Microsoft doesn't have time or desire to read books.
Keep the feedback exact and short is my suggestion.

Is it best to use the 'Me To' option if you see feedback the same as yours or add a new entry yourself, or even do both of these

This is where I get confused about what feedback they look at, number of times something is asked or number of times a 'Me To' is clicked

The feedback I have given is about a sentence in length, not done any for about a week so cannot remember my last one, but it was short and to the point

The problem with feedback from forums is that it is not representative of the average purchaser of a new pc. Most forum users live in a totally different world from the average user.

My 2 cents thinks that the first few months will be for finding bugs/glitches and the "I want to have" stuff may come later. We have until Spring, I don't think MS is in a hurry to change what works quite yet, the suggestions aren't as important right now as the fixes. I think they'll listen though, looks like an honest effort to create most of what the public wants.

I've only sent one feedback so far. Me too'ed another. Think my feedback was 3 sentences long.
