Yoga pro 2 unusable after windows 10

I have a Lenovo yoga 2 pro, and after downloading windows 10 I had been noticing that occasionally the screen would flash. Two days after the install, my screen flashes and turns off. It has not turned back on since. The keyboard is flashing, but neither it nor the mousepad work to change this. I tried a manual restart with the power button, but the computer still stays in that non-responsive mode. Any help would be great.

Mine never got far enough for that. Every method I tried to upgrade failed at the same point in the install.

My Y2P also would not accept an in-place upgrade to Win10. It would terminate at 24%. I had to reformat the drive, install a clean version of Win8.1, then upgrade to Win10 and activate. I then decided since I had lost all apps anyways, to do another round and just do a clean Win10 install. (Once you've upgraded and activated Win10, you can later do a clean install without first installing Win8.1.)

After the clean Win10 install, everything seems fine for me *except* that auto-rotation doesn't work. It's even greyed out in the Display options. My Yoga won't do yoga...

Did you install the graphics driver?

The issue resolved itself, when I went to turn it on this morning, it went to the main login screen. I logged in, and windows announced that it had installed updates.

It has an Intel HD Graphics Family driver, v.10.18.15.4240 , dated 6/16/2015, from Intel Corporation. I clicked on Update Driver and was advised that it is the most recent.

On the topic of drivers, it also has these two Sensor drivers:
    • Sdo Sensor V2, v.10.0.10240.16384, dated 6/21/2006
    • HID Sensor Collection V2, v.10.0.10240.16412, dated 4/21/2009

Those seem a bit elderly, but Windows claims they're the most current. On a Lenovo forum, someone for whom the auto-rotation works in Win10 had those same versions.

Anybody figure this out? I have the same flickering problem. Drivers listed as newer than what Lenevo has posted

Try the BIOS Update on the Lenovo support website (support.lenovo.com). That is the recommendation to Yoga 3 users at this thread and it seems to be working. I just installed the update myself about 10 minutes ago so I can't confirm it was a solution for me or not. The flickering only happened to me at random times once or twice a day.

I would also recommend installing any other recent driver updates from the Lenovo support website.
