My GPU is a Geforce Titan X, as listed in my system specs.

I don't know what scaling you refer to. The resolution is set to the native values for the monitor, 3840 X 2160. The scaling for text etc. is set to what may be its default, 150%.
The NVIDIA control panel has a setting to adjust display size and position in the Display settings area. Have you looked at these settings?

I'd also set the scaling back to 100% for testing

Hi all, this is the task bar issue. This is at the 125% in "set a custom scaling level" 150% fills the bottom of screen. 100% I'd be squinting to see items. Any one have a fix for this at this scaling level.?

Just check is at 100% scaling and same crap only smaller..

Looks like you have a nice monitor. Have you performed the Dell UltraSharp Calibration Solution Setup? This is a utility in the downloads on the Dell site at http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/...&categoryId=DD .
Hi PJLLB, Thanks a bit of a splurge and wallet eater.. looking at link you sent me and I can't see that it support Win 10, only up to Win 8.1.. would like to see current OS supported before testing..

    Fixed my problem

Hi first post so go easy on me. Hi to all firstly.

I upgraded my monitor recently to a Dell 4k display. The issue/niggle I have is that the task bar at 4k resolution and relevant scaling within the Display properties is only showing on 50% on the bottom of the screen which is annoying the s***e out of me. Does anyone have a fix for this ? or experience the same issue. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    R
OK, my problem wasn't exactly the same, but close. The bottom two lines of my external monitor were black and everything I tried to do didn't fix the problem. This included playing with the menu on the monitor, playing with the device manager settings, etc. Anyway, I finally opened the top to my laptop and saw that the screen was complete on that display. So, I tried a few more things (like changing the "personalize" settings to "tile", "center", "stretch" etc. Nothing seemed to have an effect. I finally set the setting back to "fit" and closed the lid on the laptop and the external Dell monitor issue resolved itself; that is, the screen was completely filled and everything is working as it should. I hope this might work for you.

Change the resolution to 1920x1080 and then change it back to 3840x2160. I bet it will fix the taskbar problem.
