Does Windows 10 have the flyout Tablet PC Input Panel?

If you go back to Windows 7, just be aware next year. I read a rumor that Microsoft will start force-upgrading all Windows 7 and 8 PCs to 10.

Me? I'm not happy about that either. I use Windows 7, 8, and 10 currently, and I like them all.

Thanks for that, You. I was playing with it, but don't have a touch screen. It's slow using a mouse, but it works as you demonstrated. The only complaint I can see is it needs at least 2 lines.

I am just starting to explore this app, but supposedly MS Onenote has the ability to accept hand-drawn text, and has a search function that will recognize pages of such text. Yes, in Windows 10.

Microsoft’s OneNote apps can convert handwritten notes to printed text. This makes it easy to clean up messy handwriting, but also makes your scribbled notes searchable, since OneNote can index text after it’s been converted.

But handwriting recognition is old news: soon OneNote will also be able to recognize shapes.

Microsoft calls the feature Ink Shape recognition, and in November Microsoft will roll out new versions of its OneNote apps for Windows 10 and iOS that include shape recognition.

The apps will be able to recognize more than a dozen shapes, including circles, triangles, squares, pentagons, and hexagons.

This was just rolled out in the November Windows10 update.

I'm afraid the Touch Keyboard (tabtip.exe) replaced the Tablet PC Input Panel since Windows 8.

That "tabtip" thing won't open so I have no idea what it is. I really hope that windows can re-implement the input panel soon because I really liked the handwriting, especially since my keyboard doesn't function properly and I'd prefer to write on screen instead of using an on-screen keyboard. If there is anything similar please tell me. I wish I could switch back but everything is so confusing for me because I've used Windows 7 for as long as I can remember. (I sound so old)
