    Saving StartScreen

I would like to save my startscreen (the one I see if I click theWindows icon button left corner).
In Win 8.1 I use the following procedure:

Step 1: Open the Run dialog box by hitting Windows key + R.
Step 2: Type, "%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows" and hit Enter to open Windows Explorer to the location of the Start screen layout files.
Step 3: Copy the files, "appsFolder.itemdata-ms" and "appsfolder.itemdata-ms.bak" to your backup folder.

but in Win 10 I see the folder but not the files (even with the hidden items checked).

Is there another way to save the startscreen?
    I use Win10 Home Edition 64-bit

    thanks in advance.

It shows on my computer okay, no .bak file though:

The only attribute it shows is A, no S or H (System or Hidden).

Everything Search is a great program for finding files.

I don't have those files at all... but when my Start Menu was corrupted, the way to fix it was to copy just one file from a user with a working start menu which can be seen in the thread here:
