    I'll admit to not knowing much about VMware, never had a reason the use or learn it, but when, out of curiousity, I plugged the original search string into DuckDuckGo, I found this link........

    Download Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter 3.0 from Official Microsoft Download Center

    This appears to make converting possible, and its from Microsoft.
