Thanks for the link I was wondering where I'd get them, I'm in 10 now while playing a bit more.
You don't need to download then, if you go to Player->Manage->Install VMTools (top of the VM window) that will insert the VMTools virtual CD into your CD drive. You can then open it and install the tools from there.

Thanks. Question for those running 10 in VMware. Is it just me, but when I have 10 open in VM it does not fill my monitor screen. Even if I go full screen there are black panels down either side.
This is on my Asus Notebook.

On my desktop running W10 full screen fills the full screen.

Did you install VMTools? That should help.

I didn't follow any instructions, apart from the ones during the install, I just hope I'd be able to work it out as I went along.

    Agreed.

When I installed VMware Tools, it automatically adjusted the Guest OS so that it filled the screen.

Thanks I'll see what happens, not in VM at the moment but I had got it installed to update automatically and the last I looked it was doing the Tools.

Been a bit busy this morning doing backups, now have the Windows backup, Acronis backup and did my first Macrium image, the first 2 are already regular ones, had to make the Macrium recovery disc first. :)
