users python vs c:\python
Hi all,
I have an issue that's been bothering me for a while.
I have python 3.8 installed on my laptop. I will try to import various modules from the python repository and I have a feeling that my path my been wrong.
I have python installed here C:\python AND it seems like C:\Users\araki\>python (this is in the command prompt).
1. What does the ">" greater than prompt indicate?
2. Are these different paths?
I adjusted my path/environment variable to point at C:\python, but this is still bugging me because sometimes I can't install a module in the correct location.
FWIW, I think Windows10 "adjusts" the python installation and other programs to use ONE DRIVE. I hate ONE DRIVE. It always messes up my little scripts.
I'm on a HP PAVILION, Windows 10, version 1909, and any tips would be grateful.
Thanks,
