Can't delete folder from File Explorer

    Hi All

I installed the Internxt desktop client (they're a cloud storage provider) but after giving it a try I didn't like it so uninstalled it from my Win10 Pro 22H2 laptop. But after rebooting I now have the following folder showing called "Internxt" in File Explorer that I can't get rid of:

Can't delete folder from File Explorer-capture.png

If I right click the folder I can't delete/hide it:

Can't delete folder from File Explorer-cap2.png

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this folder? I've emailed their support but haven't got a reply so is there a registry key I can delete or some other method I can use to remove this Interxt folder permanently from File Explorer?

    Thanks!

    Hello, and welcome.

You could see if an option in the tutorial below may allow you to delete the folder.

You can re-install Internxt then use REVO Uninstaller to remove it.
Or you can try deleting that folder with EMCO Unlock IT

Download Revo Uninstaller Free - Remove unwanted programs easily
After uninstalling something with REVO it will offer to... "scan for leftovers". Do that and delete whatever it finds.

UnLock IT Free - Unlock a File or Folder Locked by the System
This app will allow you to "unlock" a folder that is locked by another process, so you can delete it.

Thank you! If I delete the folder then it still shows in File Explorer and when I click it I get this:

I reinstalled the Internxt client and then installed REVO Uninstaller but maybe I am doing something wrong but I can't see Internxt in the list of apps to uninstall?

    There's TWO lists... (RED boxes)
You'll have to go through both lists. And I have no idea what that program will be called.

I just installed Internxt Drive 2.0.6 and it showed up under the "Uninstaller" tab in REVO.
I uninstalled it... then did the Scan for left overs, and deleted them, and then one more popped up in REVO and I deleted it.

    That left two other folders.
    One in... C:\Users\account name\AppData\Local ...and one in C:\Users\account name\AppData\Roaming

I manually deleted both of those.

I also found an https... Internxt in this Firefox profile location...

    C:\Users\account name\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default-release\storage\default

You're lucky. I installed again and ran REVO but still not showing. Weird.
