Onedrive doesn't give me a View Only Excel link

Windows 10 version 22H2, Excel 2013...
I have an Excel file saved in Onedrive.
I am trying to create a link to send a View Only file to someone using Share a file.
I open the Onedrive file and then click on File | Share | Get a Sharing Link.
One choice is View Link (the other is Edit Link which I don't want).
I copy that View Link and send it to someone.
Problem is, someone gets the link, opens it and he/she can edit the file which is supposed to be View Only!
How do I create a link to the Onedrive file that is View Only?

Can't help you where one drive is concerned but within every version of excel is the ability to lock cells\sheets to prevent editing. Just give it a different name (1 character is enough) and use that one instead, keeping the original. your menu may look different from the one in the link below, but you'll find it.
