What is the desktop background and where did you get it from?

Nice desktop but what are you running at the bottom right above the taskbar?
    Hi

The bar that you see just above the task bar is Rocketdock.
I've used it for many years, you can put all your commonly used programs on it, and it opens them with one click.

    About RocketDock - RocketDock.com

As you can see I organised the bar from right to left, Games, Windows Tools, etc.

I'll continue adding to it as I install my software so when I'm done I seldom need to got to the programs menu.

I put applications like Skype, Snipping Tool, my mail client etc, on the task bar where I can access them with a program windows open.

Things that I don't need to open when I'm in a program go on the Rocketdock bar.

So far everything has worked perfectly in Windows 10.

The Theme I'm using it called Milkyway I got it from the Get More Themes Online link on the Personalize page.

    Hi

I'm just back to report on the boot menu thing I mentioned in my first post.
I have had 2 different boot screen come up.

One is a black screen like the old Dos thing that you access with the arrow keys, the other is a modern Windows 8 sort of blue screen with an active mouse.

When it boots through the black screen it takes about a minute and fifteen seconds to get to the desktop.

When it boots through the blue screen it boot to the desktop in about 10 seconds.

I'll keep testing but I think the difference is that when I hit restart I get the black screen, and when I shut the computer down completely I get the blue screen.

This leads me to believe that it has something to do with Fast Boot.

If I remember correctly Fast Boot doesn't work when you restart only when you boot from a completely shut down computer.

Maybe someone knows if that's how it works.

This could also be why I had problems setting the menu up to start with, I probably hit restart instead of shut down.

Anyway if this is Windows 10 fast boot it really works, I never really noticed that is made much difference in Windows 8, but 10 seconds to the desktop and that's counting the time it takes me to type in my code is really fast.

I've seen the same results every time I have booted from the blue screen.

I'm counting the time difference from when I hit the load button on the menu.

is anyone else seeing the same thing?
