    A little more isolation please.

Me as a semi-noob see virtual desktops useful in Win 10's current implementation only as an organization tool. They are not seperate desktops, per se, and not as useful as I would like.

I was hoping that when I logged onto, say using Firefox for an email account on one desktop , and starting Firefox on a different desktop, to start another email account from the same server- that the desktops/Firefox cookies would be isolated enough so that this was possible. Alas, this is not the case. Email account username@yahoo.com on one VD will show up automatically if I put in mail.yahoo.com in Firefox in a different desktop.

So virtual desktops is more or less like one big desktop cut up and doled out to different windows.

One good thing in regards to VDs... In Start Menu | Settings | System | Multitasking, there IS now an option to control how you want the active tasks to display - all on the same taskbar, or on dedicated taskbars for each desktop. That's a good improvement.

It's just a substitute for multiple screens, nothing else.

If MS can actually isolate the desktops as a user may intuitively conceive them to work, that would give "Desktop Mode" a whole new meaning. Perhaps then it would be called Desktops.

Oh, and a way to Name them too... would minimize confusion.
