    new settings screen

The new settings screen reminds me of the control panel when it changed many years ago ,and one had to click on classic view from a dropdown to see everything . whats the new settings screen needs i think .at least till i get use to the new one

I thought the same thing about CP and Settings evolution. They're getting close!
The next release might have an option on how Settings are presented, the same way CP had the Classic view choice.

I looked and looked to see if I could find the new "Check for Updates" program from the new PC Settings window so I could throw a shortcut into my TLB shortcut folder. No luck whatsoever. Wherever MS put these new settings, it is not obvious.

You can start Windows Update directly from Run dialog ( key + R) with command WUAPP.EXE. Accordingly, you can also create a shortcut for it to desktop (C:\Windows\System32\WUAPP.EXE).

No longer... This just brings up a listing for "The Internet". All my old "check for updates" shortcuts now error out with this:
