Windows 10 9879 messed up my subscription installation of Office 365 royally!
OK
1. I had just installed O365 2013 onto the laptop, gotten all my icons in a row just like I liked them (I think this may be a separate issue) and had used Word.
2. After the Windows 10 update, I opened Word and was told to enter my user info. Which I did.
3. Even after entering the correct email address and password (I use the same on both Windows and Office), it would not activate.
4. Further, I got into some sort of loop that wouldn't allow me to shut down the request for activation.
5. At that point I shut down the computer (I could have used Task Manager to stop it too) because things were unstable.
6. I had to re-download/reinstall O365.
7. Once that was done, I was able to activate O365.
Now on to the icons issue . . . which doesn't seem to be an issue after all. The icons settled down and are sticking where I put them.

I have a MAJOR issue. I have one SSD and two 3TB hard drives in my system. After a couple of hours or so, my E drive just...disappears. After that, any time I go to access it, Directory Opus AND Disk management just hang. It's like it has disconnected. I am trying to make sure that everyone has permissions and I enabled hot swap in BIOS but I doubt it is going to fix it.
I bet this may have something to do with why Disk Cleanup takes forever to load...
If this continues, I may have to unwind this update...
Man, there sometimes is a delay, like the drive is asleep but I have hard drives sleep turned to never. I swear that this rev is spinning my drives down without my permission! There, just set it for ten hours!
EDIT NVM one of my drives did not like Win 10 and started acting up. My other drive worked fine so I just swapped one of my 3 3TB backup drives to be a prime drive.
EDIT Nope. Drive E just does not like waking up from sleep. I donno what to do about it. the only way I can get it to "wake up" is to reboot.

If anyone is seeing funny things happen with the taskbar over time (it might take a day or more of Windows use without rebooting), such as icons there not looking right, icons going missing, the Start menu malfunctioning, a quicklanuch menu not working, use Task Manager to check and see if explorer.exe has hit the 10K GDI Objects wall. There's a leak.
