    Looking back, it almost seems like XP wanted us to shut down

    I haven't come across issue with freezing, how are you running 10?

    In a VM (what resources have you given the VM) or real machine (what are the specs?)

    Real, 8 gig ram, quad core amd 3.2, latest asrock mb. NVidia card . I will reinstall the iso and not add any additional progs and see what happens. Thanks for your reply btw

    Ok, I have reinstalled 10 and will add zero additional programmes other than Microsoft stuff and see how it goes. This way will rule out any hardware conflicts.

    BUG: When coming out of sleep, the desktop background images that come from a Wallpaper folder on the boot drive do not start cycling to the "change every 5 minutes" setting but just stays locked onto the last image shown when the computer fell asleep.

    The only solution is to manually change the image once. Then the images start cycling once again properly. This bug was also part of Win8.1.
