I read a thread here, I think that said Youtube is all HTML5 now. - not confirmed - just a recollection.
Figured I'd look:
YouTube's video pick spells doom for Adobe Flash - CNET
COMPUTIAC my flash is updated to 296 and the video works in IE fine after testing but I only get 2 seconds of video in FF then I just see spinning dots, I also got the message "an error occurred please try again later". I hope my original reply can be seen as humorous as I do not intend to offend anyone or seem sarcastic. I have already done a refresh and reset IE after it crashed so I have some idea of the frustration badrobot is having with this build.
IownAmoneyPit,
OK, I watched it all the way thru this time and I had no problem's.
I'm using FF 35.0.1 and the updated flash I mentioned above. I did not follow the problems badrobot was having.
I saw you were having a problem with viewing the video and relayed to you my problem and how I fixed it.
Did not try to but into any conversation and be rude or funny.
A few minutes before I read this thread i was looking at a weather site and it stopped working and said the flash had to be updated.
This was a surprise as I just updated the flash this morning to 16.0.0.287 this was the point I was trying to make.
Sorry for causing any confusion, I did not intend to.
You have not caused any confusion and merely supplied a possible solution of my problem, Actually COMPUTIAC when I just uninstalled the flash pliugin from Firefox the video now plays all the way through, upon re-installing the flash plugin for Firefox the video stopped playing again but this time I just deactivated the flash plugin. Therefore my conclusion is you may have to deactivate the flash plugin if viewing a YouTube video and it won't play since they just switched to HTML 5.

The issue I mentioned seems to be due to lack of Internet access. Two subsequent installs on machines that can connect and search works fine from the taskbar.
Search has always been 'difficult' fro MS to get 'just right' - remember Bob?
As I play with this iteration, it seems to be close to what I think it should be. I complained about this or that without know enough about it (or they changed it while I was itching)
The taskbar search does search everywhere, including the net - it is instantaneous, so you don't get a chance to refine the search before it starts, while it's searching you can click the icons near the bottom of the results window to change the scope (my stuff | the web). Search still gets the web stuff, but a my stuff group is at the top - click that and you get a more robust search panel (or it opens the Explorer search (ms-search: protocol))
Search needs some refinement - it always has and it always will ... but as I play with it more - I LIKE IT.
Of course, there's that annoying bad habit of Search not finding the file I'm looking at in Explorer - nothing new - I change my search criteria and it's found.
Chat app hangs
I tried the Chat app last night to ask about live tiles - twice. Connected fine, got the hello how can I help from MS, but could not type in the text box, nothing except [X] worked.
