Does anybody have bad lag while opening Diskcleanup ? I wrote that off because I have W10 on a HDD so it's slower anyway but now in 9879 it takes almost 5 minutes to start opening it at all. Same lag when going to advanced cleanup.
Awwright, Mike, where did ya get 9879? I thought it was supposed to update automagically!
PC Settings >> Update and Recovery >> Preview builds
That's how I got my update for 9879.

Same here, gosh, I thought everybody and her/his brother knew about it !!!!
Come to think of it, it doesn't look like just update considering the size and everything, more like W 10.1 TP upgrade.

Thanks, Jeff! I was get my preview builds slowly. When I clicked on the dropdown, it said fast might have more bugs, which it seems to have from what I've read. But I'll take the bugs and all.

    Downloading now.

    Happy hunting!

Was the download very slow for you, Jeff? So far, it's been downloading about 15 minutes.

Ah! I guess the cable lines got frozen last night. I'm not sure what my speed is, but not that fast, for sure.

    3. something GB, be patient, it takes time. When it finishes it will seem like a Windows Restore procedure and take as much time.

Thanks, Mike. I'll finish my coffee and then go have breakfast. I've set her to never sleep for the duration.

Be sure to have enough free space on partition to install somewhere around 20GB.
