Unwanted links to display info -bottom right of screen

Playing around with access to clipboard and Win logo key and shortcuts I have acquired two very small links to Display Information and Display Format in the bottom right of my monitor. I have not been aware of these links before and wonder how I can remove them. Any thoughts please? Hi, possible easy option- use a System Restore point.

Normally those appear bottom right of a file explorer window:

I've never seen them on the desktop, as you seem to show.

Those look like File Explorer icons. Helps for you to post a screenshot of the whole screen not just a snippet.

Looks like a snippet from File Explorer. System Restore will not change that if the OP has File Explorer open in Tablet mode.

These were the result of two shortcuts Ctrl + shift+ 6 and Ctrl + shift + 2 and now I can't undo them. They change the way "View" is displayed in a folder. There must be a file somewhere that needs to be deleted.

    - not the point, I'm afraid.. I simply posted that to illustrate my comment about these being what you'd normally see in file explorer- so yes, that's a screenshot of part of file explorer.

My recommendation stands about using a System Restore point for the OP's case.

And have you yet tried System Restore?

    - and what were these expected to do?

I cannot get System Restore to work. I thought these shortcuts were something to do with displaying the Clipboard. I am afraid I am no techy!

Everybody has those icons in the bottom-right of a File explorer window.
Saints' post #12 appears to explain how you can see these icons on the Desktop and how to undo them - right-click on the Desktop [even in its current strange appearance] and select any of the icon views].
My Desktop does nothing in response to the suggested Ctrl-Shift-6 keys.

I rewrote this post after seeing Saints' post #12
