Sophia script-based Windows tweaking methods - which is the latest?

As I understand it, the Sophia basic script for Power Shell was the first to appear (via GitHub)and has had many updates. Then, more recently, came the Sophia Script Wrapper, which added an optional graphic front end to the basic script. The latest development seems to be the SophiApp, which just runs as a portable app, and makes the Windows tweaking process a whole lot easier.

I get the impression that the developer intends the SophiApp to be the final application of the script. Is this correct? Or is SophiApp just an easy-to-use alternative to the script-plus-wrapper? Which would seem to indicate that both of those versions offer the same features?

Anyone know? The SophiApp is far easier for me to use, but I'd use the wrapper version if it has more features and options.

    Hello teckneeculler,

According to the developer of Sophia projects (Script and SophiApp), here are the details about them.

SophiApp is the full GUI version of the Script. The app (V1.x) is currently EOF now and will no longer get feature updates as V2.0 is being currently developed. The new V2.0 app is expected to have new UI/UX, new functions, clean code, new effects for UI, and some unnamed cool new features.

The Script (and its Wrapper) will be always updated regularly while the new V2.0 app is being developed.

Both the SophiApp and Script share the same logic.

Currently right now, SophiApp V1.0.94 does not have new functions like the Script does.

davegamerthumbs: Thanks very much, that's exactly what I wanted to know. Sounds like I should be using the Script+Wrapper, at least until SophiApp V.2 becomes available. Do you know if there's a site that offers clear and simple info about implementing the script\wrapper?

    Hello teckneeculler,

Here is a simple tutorial: Windows 10/11 Debloat GUI/Debloater is now ‘Sophia Script Wrapper’! – BenchTweakGaming

Full video guide that should be still useful:

Thanks, David. I found the video (your narration?) on this page, so now I have plenty to read, listen, watch and digest:

    Hello again teckneeculler,

Thank you for that compliment. The projects are a team effort.

That YouTube video is the official video but it was made at the end of 2021. I voiced that video.
farag2 is also known as Sanctuary. The YouTube channel is called Sanctuary.

A new video is prepared with captions included. However, the new video will be voiced in Russian.

Hi again, David. You're welcome: you're doing an essential part of a great project!
Another question, if you would. After I use Sophia + Wrapper, I'll be looking for the next steps in the tune-up process. Like Open Shell, Old New Explorer, Rectify, WinAero etc. Do you know of any websites where people are discussing the best tweaks to use after Sophia, and in what order? Perhaps that could be a follow-up app for Farag?

    Hello again, teckneeculler,

I chatted with farag2/Sanctuary for more information about doing things after using Sophia.

    - Old New Explorer is dead and now fully replaced with a modern, normal File Explorer

    - Rectify but use it at your own risk

    Hello teckneeculler,

I hope you are doing well. Sorry for the late reply.

According to farag2, SophiApp 2.0 is in the works.

You can take a look at the ongoing work here: Commits . Sophia-Community/SophiApp . GitHub

It is developed at this location: GitHub - Sophia-Community/SophiApp at dev-wpf
