    having difficulty deleting the news and search highlights icon


    22H2 build 190452364

    A recent update replaced my "normal" search button with a news and search highlights box which I can't seem to get rid of. I've
    tried several solutions from the net including this forum and the files that Brink provided. I follow the steps but nothing happens when I click OK...I'm beginning to think something else got hosed - wouldn't be the first time...

    Hey, thanks

    Yes, that's what I tried. I just now tried it again and in fact worked, don't know why but I've been messing around still trying to fix it
    so maybe I did something that enabled the file to work this time?
