Yet again the sleep issue arises
Windows 10 Pro (22H2)
Yet again my computer won't go to sleep after recent updates. What I've tried:
Using an elevated prompt nothing shows up for:
powercfg -requests
powercfg -lastwake
Checked the usual culprits in Device Mgr incl HIDs, mouse, keyboard and network
Restored plan defaults
Disabled wake timers under Sleep
Set sleep & display sleep to 1 minute
Hybrid sleep off
Set 'Allow Computer to sleep' in multimedia settings
Disabled fast-startup
Disabled screensaver (set to 'none')
Did a clean boot:
Unchecked 'Load startup items'
Disabled all non-MS services
Also disabled all Startup items in task manager
Even tried MS Power troubleshooter
I've no new peripheral devices plugged in
I can't restore to a meaningful restore point as I seem to have only 4 available restore points, all within the last week. I guess I didn't act soon enough.
I don't believe I've got a virus as sleep stopped working around about the time of some recent MS updates
I don't have problems with Win10 apart from sleep which I believe is broken in Win 10 anyway. It's been working for at least a year now until very recently and I can't think of what else to do.
