    How to shrink whole document

In microsoft word, how to reduce/shrink the whole word document size so that I can fit more text in one page? (and maintain the different font sizes)

Example, in a word document there are many text (title, headers, subheaders, links, charts...) that are different font and sizes. I cannot simply just select all and change to smaller font size because all the text will become same size, I want all text to be their original size. Just shrink the whole thing so more info can appear in one page. I want more info to appear in a printed page.

    Thanks

You can try and make the top and bottom margins smaller

Slightly better, but I do wish to show more info in one page by making everything smaller size.

You could reduce the space between lines.
Select a line to see what I mean, select a line then right-click, Paragraph, Spacing.

Other than that there are no other remaining options other than making the page bigger.

Unless, of course, there has been a misunderstanding:
    - "maintain the different font sizes"
    - "by making everything smaller size"
These seem to contradict each other.

    Automatic "shrinker" in Word

Quick Access Toolbar (the little one above/below the main ribbon toolbar) > down arrow at end (drop down menu) > More commands ... > change Popular commands to All commands > down to shrink one page > Add >> OK

There's an icon now in your Quick Access Toobar

Reduces the various/different font sizes proportionately

There are limitations as to how much Word can auto shrink.

I mean make the whole document become smaller proportionally.

Example if I print this thread, the text "comcom" will always be bigger than "Joined : Jul 2016" even if I shrink the whole document.

It sounds like you want Shrink one page, as mentioned by idgat, or Shrink selection.
Personally, I never use fonts below size 12 so shrinking would not be an option for me.

    Best of luck,
