Boot time faster?

    Not seen any difference and I would not have thought you would as this is based right off of Windows 8.1.1. That part of the OS is most probably the same, it is mainly the GUI they have been tweaking. Over the next six months to a year there will be plenty of optimizations and I am sure the powers that be will want it to boot faster. In the launch they said it will be faster than 7 & 8 on the same hardware (they always say that).

    I'm on a 5400rpm HDD and boot for 10 is definitely faster than 7 for me. I know it doesn't answer the original question, but thought I'd share.
