I believe, looking back, that needing to use Reset My PC after the first install led to a much smoother experience afterwards.

The only hitch was reinstalling programs, but that may have been a Good Idea anyway. And nearly all of my important programs were downloads, so I probably avoided reinstalling crud on the W10 side.
I have all of my programs that I use on a separate drive so it's easy for me to reinstall them.

Why are you using 10`s email program ?
I tried it myself for a few days, and quickly tired of using it.

Since I converted back to a local account (my Microsoft account was an old throw away Hotmail account I have never actually used for real E-mail), I returned to my previous behavior - using the web version of Gmail.

I use about 7 or 8 crucial programs, so it was quick work even just to go download them again.

I use about 12.. I could just download them each time but I find it much easier in the long run to have them on my data(HDD) drive.

Large 'staple' programs I will keep on an external drive, smaller programs that, perhaps update frequently, I'll download fresh.

That makes sense,. I'm just lazy I guess and downloading my programs seems like a waste of time to me. But.. it would be that hard and I would get the latest version of the programs.

No looking back for me, everything works! Win 95, Win98SE, Win 2000, Win XP, & Win 7 all were wonderful but its time to move on again. Didn't touch at all Win ME, Vista and Win 8. Win 10 is the future and has support for all the latest and upcoming PC technologies.

There is no doubt about it, Windows 10 is lightning fast and boots up almost faster than you can 'blink'

So as I have two copies of Windows 7, I put Windows 10 on both Hard Drives.

Waiting for Windows 7 to boot is like waiting for paint to dry, so all things considered I love it, except for just one thing.

Does Windows 10 keep 'phoning home' with everything we type or else maybe recording every Key Stroke?

I don't think I'm being Paranoid here, its more like we could be complacent and choosing instead to bury our heads in the sand.

Just wondered if anyone else agrees with that?

Key logging it doesn't do but it does use some information like location to provide better localized service. Much of the stuff can be turned off on expense of some services like Cortana etc.
