    Odd. I have a Disney + subscription.

I can't duplicate your issue, either in Edge or in the app.

I'm running Windows 11, but I doubt that matters.

I also see the Disney + app in the MS store. If memory serves, it came with 11 (22621). I didn't install it myself.

Just to throw this idea out there, could it possibly be an Internet Service Provider issue? The original poster's flag in their profile states that they're in South Africa. Maybe if we try using a VPN (to change the IP number to a different location in the world).

3nd, we can maybe try this method if you'd like:
    1) In Google Chrome, go to this link: Free VPN for Chrome - Troywell VPN - Chrome Web Store
    2) Download & Install that VPN extension
    3) Press the Extensions icon and Pin the VPN extension

    4) When clicking the Extension, it asks to Accept or Decline something about usage data, you can choose whichever, it will still work.

    5)

Press Nearest server, press USA, then press TURN ON

    6) It will show you a map of the earth once it connects. When it connects, try out the video.

i have a vpn ,connected with it now to a server best for disney+ , but cant login cause it asks for email, which i never gave to sign up here in south africa . anyways dont think one can sign up in one country and then login from "another country".

im baffled at this point ...
done everything suggested so far but still nothing
    sigh...

if the app is in the store , MS is doing a pretty decent job at hiding it

Oh, okay you have a VPN. The one I suggested is also a good one, just for future reference, or for if others want to check out.

But I'm sure Disney is okay with the idea of VPNs. If they see you log in from a different country, they should have the technology knowing that you're using a VPN, or ... ARE actually logging in from a different country!

Worst case scenario is that once you log in using a VPN, they might send you an email asking if the log in attempt is actually you. That's what many different big organizations out there now do for security measures. Once you log in from a "different location", they will send you an email asking if that really is you and if you want to continue logging in.

yea , my password manager will block a login if its even from another device nevermind another location lol
but anyways ,dont think changing location/IP gonna matter here , disney works fine on another pc here ,so its either my pc or my browser ...

i literally installed chrome and firefox just to see if itll play proper on there , it didnt
so now 4 browsers (brave, edge, chrome,FF) shows the exact same problem with disney on this pc ...
which would lead me to believe somethings up with pc ?
the graphics card is up to date and latest driver installed (anyway NOTHING else gives any problems ,just disney)

OH! Sorry! I think you mentioned that before, I'm sorry I forgot! When I read that sentence, it reminded me that you don't have issues on other computers. Then yes, most likely something with this current computer.

Try creating a new temporary account on this computer, and try the video from one of the browsers.

    ok tried it ....
the admin acc and MY acc (local) has that problem with disney
my other 3 local accs does not have the problem ...

i feel like we making progress lol

It appears that you have an 'artifact" from something that is interacting with video within your web browsers.
yea but what ,how to determine that ?

i even used different users on this pc ...nothing ..
i tried the admin acc not the other local accs)

Cool! Well that kinda narrows it down. There's something wrong inside those accounts' settings. Honestly, I don't have any suggestions at this moment, but hopefully someone knows what to do.

EDIT: I found this: Fix: Windows 10 Video Problems - Appuals.com
There's a whole bunch of suggestions in there, (also remember Disable Hardware Acceleration from earlier? There's another method to disable that in the computer's settings: How to Disable Hardware Acceleration in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 - Appuals.com )

That's all I can suggest for now.
