Anything you unpin from Quick access should disappear from there straightaway.
If it's not doing so then right-click & select Refresh [or press F5].
- Windows has exhibited Refresh problems for at least twenty years and there is no known solution.
- I reboot my computers every day just to reduce the incidence of Refresh problems.
Or have I not understood what you want?
All the best,
Denis
Open File Explorer
View menu > Options > Change folder and search options
(At top of Folder Options window) Open File Explorer to > pull down options change from Quick Access to This PC
(At bottom) Untick both boxes
Clear File Explorer history > Clear
Should clear what you want and stop non-"pinned" (re-)appearing .... BUT, no guarantees. Windows/File Explorer has been flaky for years, always has been, always will be.
OR
Right click on the offending entries > Remove from Quick Access. Has to be done one-by-one.
Please show me this much [the Quick access label itself, all the Quick access entries, the pins]
and tell me which ones have already been unpinned.
This is the general guidance

{After further study, I decided that my original link for awkward casesunpin awkward items from Quick access - Winhelponlinedoes not offer anything else that's useful.}

I suppose it's fixed now.
I have put in this link
Reset, Clear Quick Access - TenForumsTutorials
in my original post. I think that procedure is better than the one in that WinHelpOnline article.
All the best,
Denis
Welcome to TenForums.
It's really worth making time to browse through the Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every page.- At the foot of the Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.- Tutorials are also listed by category at Tutorials - there's also a shortcut to that at the top of every page.
- I download a new copy each month.
- By downloading it as a spreadsheet I can benefit from Excel's excellent filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
- Both tutorial lists are searchable.
- You can also search for TenForumsTutorials in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com/tutorials after your search term. For example,
taskbar toolbars site:tenforums.com/tutorials
You can search TenForums using the search box in the top-right corner of all TenForums webpages or using Advanced Search - TenForums
- You can also search TenForums threads in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com after your search term. For example,
Search for drivers by HardwareID site:tenforums.com
- [This is what the search box in the top-right corner of TenForums webpages does automatically]
