start menu crashes

    start menu crashes


    how to do this for startmenu ? my start menu crashes when nvidia driver crashes and it wont open.

    Right click on Start should still work and enter into Command Prompt:

    taskkill /IM explorer.exe /F & explorer.exe

    Or you can use an alternative task manager like Process Hacker, right click explorer and just Restart it.

    i know how to restart explorer exe, how to restart WIn 10 start menu ? it wont open after driver crash.

    Start is also explorer process, so it might work, you can also try to restart ShellExperienceHost.exe.

    umm when my start menu crashes, i can still see my task bar and my explorer works fine, i dont think they are the same, let me try that if that happens again.
