    I Tried and Failed

Before everything was working great! No problems and then it shows up. When I turn on my computer first thing in the morning or reboot, I get these two log in's, in the left hand bottom corner of my screen. How would I get rid of those? Also for the person answering this question, I have a different one which is about 4 port power hubs. I just started to get into the Pi's, and I actually love them now. So after some reading and people trying to add HD's to them, I kept hearing the word you need a power hub, as the ports that are the pi are that powerful. The only thing I would plug into it anyways is a SD card reader, ore maybe a thumb drive and that's about it. Is this to much for this little guy (Pi)? As when I would use it, my ethernet port light would go off and then the thing would start slowing down. I stop using it for fear that it might hurt the little guy. As for my desktop PC (that sits on the floor, I have another power port plug into a USB 3 port. Would only use it for again maybe a card reader or a thumb drive. Is a power hub to much for this as well?
    Thanks

Go to this page and click the link to Hide Specific User accounts. Unless you want to remove the User Profile entirely.

As for your other question, when you say Pi, do you mean Raspberry PI? Non powered USB Hubs are good for low powered devices like keyboards, mice, printers etc. Any Mass Storage device is best to be plugged directly into the Back USB port of the computer, if you can't do that then plug it into a USB Hub with it's own Power Adapter.
Or were you talking about a Raspberry Pi USB Hub?

I guess I should also mention for my first part is that I was changing the name of the computer and I guess I screwed something up. In the end I tried to straight it out, but guess I made it worst.

As for the second part of the message, yes I do mean "the raspberry Pi" and not the Pi hub. Just a normal 4 port power hub.
    Thanks

OK, you still haven't told us what you did to change the name of the computer? And what the status is now?
To change the Name of the Computer, go to Settings/System/About/Rename this PC.

As for your second question, there are several Powered USB Hubs dependent on the amount of ports you need and your budget.https://www.amazon.com/s?k=usb+3.0+p..._ts-doa-p_1_14

Hello, regarding your Rasberry Pi. I have one for the first ones that came out. I have had a few power issues with it, this was actually due to using a very long cable, from a wired Xbox controller. That dropped the power down enough to cause slowing and power warnings. I do power it from an iPhone charger, a powered USB hub shouldn't be much different, I wouldn't have thought.

I have just connected (for the first time) an external USB 2.5 inch HDD. It spun up just fine, I don't have exfat support on it yet, so that's as far as I got. It spun up, I got a warning. Adding exfat support now, didn't know it wasn't there by default. No power warnings or slowness issues.
