    Print spooler


    I am currently on Winver 21H2 19044.1415. Is it still recommended to keep the print spooler service disabled? I have continued to do so and simply enable it when I need to print, but that's a bit annoying if the precaution is no longer necessary.

    I don't do that and it's not necessary as your install is current/patched.

    Is it still recommended to keep the print spooler service disabled?
    If your Windows 10 is fully updated as of August 10th it will have the patch for the PrintNightmare vulnerability. And there will be no reason to disable the Print Spooler Service.
