    I'm lovin it!

I dunno guys, I am the biggest computer doofuss in the world. (Well Top 10) , but I installed W10 yesterday and I am lovin it! I originally had an error that would not allow me to download the upgrade, but detailed instructions showed me what to do and it was quick and painless.

I see a lot of folks complaining that this or that will not work, well I think it's a problem with their computer, not the software. I have an older laptop that was running W7Pro and it linked up no problem.

I am still getting used to it, but so far it's been great!

A lot is with the OS not having the correct drivers installed when it goes out to look for them, or even having hardware vendors having the drivers.

A lot is that people are jumping on this too quickly, without checking to make sure that their software and hardware will be compatible with 10.

Microsoft did the same thing with 10, as they did with XP, Vista & 8. Pushed it out before software & hardware vendors had their stuff ready for the release.

    I love your NAME! haha.

But the general problem is with people who have done OTA updates on their system, as opposed to doing an in-place install upgrade.

Why is it suddenly fashionable for people to Start bashing Microsoft.

Windows 10 is Amazing! and can be all things to all people, whether for Family Entertainment or a Business User like myself, who has been using Windows XP for years and recently Windows 7 on one Hard Drive and Windows 10 on the other, in order to be able to compare the two.

My first reaction to Windows 10 with all the Apps and live Tiles, was that this was something for the kids rather than the Serious Business User.

With the Benefit of Hindsight, I was wrong!

Yes its a bit overwhelming at first and has a bit of a learning curve that does take time to Master but that is half the fun and once you Customize that interface and move some of those tiles round, pin them to the Start Menu or even turn some of them off, a light comes on as you start to think 'I've really got something here!'

Its better than Windows 7 by a Country mile, in my opinion, as apart from the Technical side of things, its Vibrant and Fun to use and don't forget this new System is still on the 'Nursery Slopes' and will no doubt be Updated in time with lots more useful features.

I think the Guys at Microsoft have done a really great job but you can't please all the People all the time.

Half the problems I tend to feel have been caused by those who couldn't get their heads around the Install and wanted to turn off the Updates, rather than let the System do its thing.

I'm now Windows 10 on both Hard Drives and have no intention of going back to Installing Windows 7 or swapping Edge for Firefox.

Windows 10 boots up in Seconds and Edge just runs at Warp speed!

Just my 2 cents but I love it!

Totally disagree. How long do they wait? OEM's had access to insider builds and had plenty of time to build drivers. IMHO OEM's had more opportunity than any previous OS to get their driver right. Some were tardy, that's for sure. Some forget that the older your tech is the less likely it is that a new driver will be released. New drivers come out for the most recent hardware first. Then it trickles down. How far down depends on the manufacturer.

There is no "suddenly" about it. Some will join a forum just to bitch. Not referring to anyone in particular, just stating a fact. There are always a few malcontents. That's life in the fast lane. lol, well its the fast lane for some of us, some just can't drag them selves out of the past. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Yep, been getting bashed for decades, especially at every new OS release. Personally not happy with the lack of control over updates and all the push towards the cloud. That is me and I can live with my choices, let those who really like it party on. :)

I do see why some are reluctant, I'm not unsympathetic, when I see a valid point. It's not hard to tell though when somebody has an agenda. Know what I mean? I think I'm a reasonable person? I try to give everybody the reasonable doubt? The evil empire stuff just gets old. What can I say. I'm a Microsoft MVP but that doesn't stop me from complaining when I think they have messed up. I've actually been worried what I've said might come back on me. It hasn't happened yet so I guess they aren't what some would portray them as. They do listen to what you complain about.
