    PC became unable to create new folders - gettin a file not found error


    I don't know when this problem commenced...the last time I tried I was able to generate new folders on my Win 10 PC just fine.

    What happens is that a new folder icon named "New Folder" does in fact appear to have have been created in the selected location but when I go to change the folder name I get a file or folder not found error and I am unable to do anything with the folder other than delete it.

    Any help getting this resolved will be much appreciated.
