Black images creating white lines to appear outside canvas area

    Hi forum.

I have an issue with my display on my monitor, I don't know what's causing this issue so I'm also posting in this forum.

I just bought a new PC monitor, and I'm seeing line appearing outside the canvas area, both in PS and AI.

What could this be? is it a known Adobe glitch or is it my new monitor, is windows causing this issue, or my GPU. I'm a bit worried..

    Kind regards.

In the image you can see lines running across outside the canvas.

Presumably PS is the dreaded acronym for Photoshop, what is AI?
Ensure the system is operating normally by running ---sfc /scannow---and ---dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth ---.
See if that clears the problem.
If not, reset the Graphics driver using these keys ---win+ctrl+shift+B. Check again.
If still no joy, check through the Nvidea card settings, normally found in ^ via the taskbar.
Then ---Settings>Display and all the options given making sure the selections fit your needs.
Finally---Control Panel>colour management and the many options available.

    AI, stands for Adobe illustrator.

I'll check out all the options.

    Thank you.

I bought the same exact monitor, and the lines are not there. So its obviously a faulty monitor causing this issue.

    Kind regards.
