Windows 10: Folder View Settings and Desktop Icon Positions Not Saving

It seems that my problem is gone.
All I've done is to suffer and wait.

as you can see, Eset blocked me from accessing that site ... I'm happy

Yes there is. To be up to date Nod32 should be 8.0.319.0 although Eset reckon earlier builds should work as long as cleaner module 1114 is installed.
You can wait for it to come down the regular update, it may do already, or switch to the pre-release update.

Done all that but and changed to pre-release update but the module hasnt updated yet
