is there a way to quick find the keys in registry ?
I can't do it by my self this with the registry.
Maybe some simplified tutorial (with pictures) will be needed for more common windows users like me.
thank you

Hi, fortunately not, but I'm intrigued that this thread has found a root cause in this instance. However the many reports of the same symptoms over years suggest Nod32 isn't the only instigator. I found one registry key common to both desktop icons auto-arranging and folder view settings not being retained, but could not force the symptoms to occur either via that or the better known 'shell\Bags' keys. Other 'fixes' posted only seem to work for a few users.
Hi, if you use a registry editor that allows you to cut and paste the whole key location into the equivalent of the address bar, all you have to do is launch the editor, paste in the key, and you're there.
Regeditx,
Download RegEditX - MajorGeeks
O&O Regeditorhttp://www.oo-software.com/en/products/ooregeditor
for example. Freeware.
Hi! Grab this file and right-click then Run as Administrator
ESET_FolderViewSettingsFix.bat
After running this, restart/reboot your computer.
