Several members have attempted various approaches to fix the problem to no avail. It has been suggested that the only way to permanently fix the problem is to completely reformat Windows 10 (clean install) and use a different antivirus program (do not install ESET after the clean installation).
*It is important to note that uninstalling ESET AFTER experiencing these issues will not fix the problem as the damage is already done*

ive unistal eset and instal it again... and trying to fix the problem and it doesnt work on me..
does anyone at this forum have trouble like mine?

THX Dude, finally this helped me out from this prblem.
I have forgotten to change the owner.

    It works now.
    So what I did:
I started REGEDIT with administration right
At the 2 destinations I made the same:
I changed the owner on my account name (I have administrator rights)
I added myself to the "Group or user" with full access
I changed manually those vlaues as the description was
    quit
Restart, and now it is working.

    BIG THX!

Okay guys I registered to share my experience too (and download the bat files).

I tried to do it with One Click Fix (bat files) provided by Zash but I had no luck. I run as admin ofc and the bat was running and instantly closing so I assumed everything would work but there's no message but when I restarted nothing changed.

I tried to run both run_64bit.bat and the bat found in ESET_FolderViewSettingsFix_x64 folder after the SetACL.exe but still nothing.
Then I tried to manually do it myself. Still no luck there. I tried to change permissions but it said I need permissions to change permissions.... Then I click advanced and tried to change permissions there, sometimes it would let me edit the permissions (even though it still didn't let me apply the changes because I didn't have permission.. to change permissions..) and sometimes it wouldn't (only view permissions instead of edit was able to be clicked).

Anyways my last hope was Safe Mode. I indeed boot into safe mode and run Zash .bats and I saw that the keys changed succesfully. I ran both bats run_64bit.bat and the ESET_FolderViewSettingsFix_x64.bat (not sure if I had to do both but well I did.

Now after a restart everything is finally fine.

So my recommendation is, if you have problems with permissions, just go into safe mode and run the .bat as Admin and you should - I guess - be fine.

Thanks for the fix and all your effort reporting and trying to figure out the problems.
