The items listed ARE Telemetry which means TRACKING. Bye the way, the last time I did a clean install there were places to disable things like how you use Typing. Just install the program and use the suggestions. You have to make sure System Restore is turned on because the program wants a restore point before anything is changed. O&O Software has been around for many years and I trust the company 100%. NO, I have no interest in the Company.

ShutUp10 doesn't have a box marked Telemetry but, in the User Behavior section, there are telemetry settings.

If you hover your mouse over each setting you'll see a question mark appear. Click on the setting text and it will expand to show an explanation of what the setting does. For example:

    Attachment 310579

    Hope this helps...
Excellent bit of software which I have used numerous times without ANY detrimental affects what so ever.

Everything spies on your computer today. You can not stop it all. Even companies that say they don't do it. Just a fact of live today !

There are obviously ways that you can probably stop about 95% of it, which is a lot better than doing nothing about it and increasing your online portfolio if they are interested.

I really don't remember. It was on a tech forum and it was a while ago, so I can't point you to it.
You can control what Microsoft uses to interact with Cortona, Ink & typing. https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/...ncortanamodule. Everything you need to control is at your fingertips in the Settings Center. You do not need a third party software to change registry settings. https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/

I find your remarks to be insulting. I do not believe that everything on the internet is true, and the information came from a personal conversation with someone else. If I should not believe them because the conversation took place on the internet, why should I believe you?
    Insulting? Not entirely unintentional.

    You shouldn't believe me.

You should also stick with open source stuff, so you'd have half a chance of avoiding any undesired stuff the greedy corporations put into their operating systems or application software. You should also never connect the PC to the net, just to be doubly sure.

    Hmm,yes. Not entirely unintentional.

No,I don't take your word for anything, either, but I have to wonder why you would even partially intentionally insult someone whose background you don't know and whom you've never met and know nothing about.

Probably something to do with a claim that Microsoft installs a keylogger as part of Windows 10. (That's a pretty newsworthy charge.) Basis? Something some guy posted on some forum somewhere.

If that doesn't seem potentially annoying, I don't know know what more to say.

Perhaps I've become overly sensitized, due to all the misinformation and disinformation flying around these days. I try to discourage people from spreading it. Not always politely.

"Have a nice life"? It's usually "Have a nice day", which translates to "Go #&$k yourself". I won't reply in kind.
