    Auto Shutdown

Is they a way to shut down my windows 10 computer every night at 11pm? I do not have a password to log into windows and sometimes the computer is in sleep mode at that time. Is there a way to do this with these things going on. Tried different programs but nothing seems to work when in sleep mode. Thanks for any suggestions on this.

    Hello mate,

If you like, you could use the same method in the tutorial below to create a task in Task Schedular to automatically shut down the computer when you want for Windows 10.

You have to wake it up so as to shut it down. Select "Wake the computer to run this task" under the "Conditions" tab in Task Scheduler.

Unfortunately, the task requires a password protected administrator account.

Still requires an Admin account with a password, right?

Yeah, no way around that when using an elevated task.

Could do it by creating a new Admin id with a password. Not one you normally use, just create it for this one task.
