Hello, how do you change the look of the Windows 10 setting page?

    Hello,

I know that Windows 10 (2004 version) updated the look of the settings page. I was wondering how to change the Windows 10 settings page (look) to the newer look? Is there a registry "tweak" to it?

    Here is an example.

I would like to go from this...

    To this...

Is there a way to "update" the look on the settings page? I had the "newer" look on my iMac (using BootCamp) but not on my laptops.

Is there an 'official' way of setting this rather than relying on an external utility?

First you have to use a microsoft account for sign in.

Then I think it might be under settings > privacy > General > show me suggested content in the settings app

Comments I read indicated there is no GUI way to do that.. I think that was an MS forum thread. We'll see.

Given the method above is unofficial there's no guarantee, of course. (See comments following in that article).

The method covers both enabling and disabling. The articles in my previous were just to show comments others had made, plus an overview from Softpedia.

I.e. read the text, not just the title.

yea i just tried both enabling (on the pc that has it disabled) and disabling (on the pc that has it enabled) using the newest version of mach2.

tried from the command prompt and from powershell.

neither bore any fruit. It appears microsoft has changed the flag code as i used it a few windows versions ago and it worked.

Wish i could find out what triggers the flag to begin with so my pc's are at least uniform. My secondary desktop uses the same microsoft account, and is the same windows version yet it doesnt have the banner. go figure.

I tried using Mach2 0.5.0.0 (latest) to disabled OneDrive and when I did Mach2 display it showed as disabled but on reboot, it's still there in the Settings header so this appears not to be working on 2004. Can anyone test on 1909?
