How do I limit Aero snap only to 2x1 instead of 2x2?

    Hello,

Windows 10 is definitely the best desktop OS ever.
I found one improved feature really annoying when you work with a small screen.
The advanced aero-snap function to automatically re-size four windows into 2x2 arrangement.
However, since windows 7, I get used to use 2x1 snap on my laptop.
So, is there any way to disable the 2x2 snap and turn it back to 2x1 snap no matter you snap to a corner or an edge of the desktop?
Thank you very much in advance!

It is always 2x1 when you use the edge of the monitor, as long as you don't drag your mouse to the corners. You could also just use the arrow keys plush the Windows key.

Thank you so much for your suggestions.
Because with previous windows 7/8/8.1, I always drag to corner to get two windows arranged in 2x1 position. Now, I'm trying very hard to avoid to drag to the corners. But, I'll fail for three times out of 10 drags. Since 2x2 is not for all screens, I'm thinking about if there is a way to disable the 2x2 snap and turn it back to 2x1 snap even when you drag to each corner of the screen.

To be honest I think your best bet is just to adapt to the new functionality. Because the only way I see you can change it is by turning the whole thing off.

Is it possible to do the trick through the registry modification?
It's really a backward update for small screens.
