Windows 10 installs drivers automatically for almost anything, you shouldn't worry to much about those. I've upgraded older dell systems without problems, so i should say: go ahead

My biggest problem is on Nvidia GT525 that conflict with intel graphic HD 3000 drive, that I have two cards drivers conflicting. Intel recomends to disable one of both, but if you no have the intel driver, nvidia driver no works. And need install the hybrid drives system, named R272839 and R283293-Video AVerMedia. but I install it and no works. My problem are that when I close lid that the colors turn on very strong, like a second externa display and that is the problem: conflict with display that they dont existing or connected, thats are an confusion. Drivers conflicting. And at now,no solution.

    Windows 10 x64 v1703 build 15063 XPSL502X Clean Install

I put many hours into testing this. I have the xpsl502x working perfectly and wanted to share this. I performed a clean install (blank unallocated drive). I used the drivers found in the link below. These are all .inf installers and some skill and know how will be needed to install them manually. You can also integrate them with NTLite which I did and made a bootable usb stick, installed and the outcome was a perfectly installed OS with all drivers installed just add Dell Quickset and your done.

Hi, I read Yoda Hulk's post about all working well on his Dell L502x laptop after his Windows 10 upgrade. Congratulations. :) Many of you also had positive experiences as well.

I did not do badly myself since all ESSENTIAL items seem to be working. However a few things did not work out well.

My main complaint is that the sound quality was noticeably degraded. I seem to have lost stereo effect as well as some of the boom of the JBL subwoofer speaker. WavesMaxx audio also disappeared and Soundblaster xFI MB software is not compatible on Windows 10. After encountering these issues I read of a fix on Google which I executed, and I was able to regain the Dell Audio WavesMaxx interface back once again, but wiithout an option to adjust stereo mix. Judging from the sound I believe I am now getting MONO sound rather than stereo. The other negative result was the loss of the Windows Mobility Center (the control panel on the upper right of the base of the laptop that handles wifi, sound, bluetooth, etc.) I am sorry to see that go since it was very convenient.
I am writing to find out if others suffered the loss of the two things I mentioned as well and if so, whether you found any work-arounds for these issues. I would very much appreciate your input.

    Thank you very much!

    Hoping to hear from you.

    Best regards,

managed to get it work with shady driverpack
no malware detected now still inspecting... (config+uncheck auto soft install)
all things is working but no luminous tactil buttons (upper right)

better make it cleaner from intel.com detection i guess
still its working nice, no pb at all at this point
no undetected driver :) (windows 1806 update + A12 BIOS)

upgraded with samsung evo 860 and win10 pro at same times

weird things is that steam stream is working better than on win7 with wifi
idk why but its a bit wtf

no lag with 2.4Ghz wifi while it was crap on win7
moonlight (geforce experience game stream) with max settings (150M/s) does not work with 2.4Ghz

I realize this is an old post, but after much futzing around, I believe I got the sound working using the Audio_Realtek_W8_A06_Setup_RKKTF-ZPE.exe from the Dell website. (Google should find it.) I might have had to uninstall all the Nvidia software first (from device manager, uninstall device and click uninstall the driver too). Reboot install the Audio_Realtek and reboot until Windows picks up the Nvidia drivers it wants to use. Sorry I am not more explicit, but I was fighting this for a couple of days. Good luck. I hope this helps.
