Can't update display drivers because of Windows 10

So I just finished installing windows 10 and I'm having this issue where my display driver isn't being recognized and instead its now showing "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter". Is there any way to bring back the old driver to its original resolution?

I have a Dell Inspiron N7110 and it seems like all the drivers are only compatible with Windows 8.1, how can I bypass that?

Also, another issue is that Windows Troubleshooter doesn't work. When I click on "Show more" it says that "Context: Restricted". I have no clue whats going on and any help is greatly appreciated!

I upgraded an Inspiron 7110 to Windows 10. Any yellow flags in the Device Manager were corrected by downloading Windows 8/8.1 drivers from the Dell website. In my experience, Windows 8/8.1 drivers usually work in Windows 10. I've even loaded some Windows 7 drivers on other older Dell machines to correct lack of drivers in Windows 10.

You can also go to the Intel website and run their Driver Update Utility to find driver updates for Intel chipsets on Dell motherboards.

My issue when updating the driver is there would always be an error that would pop up in the middle of installing. Anyway to bypass it?

and the Intel Update Utility came up with no drivers available for my laptop

The Dell website says that your computer is not compatible with Windows, but you could try downloading the Windows 8 drivers like Antilope suggested if you haven't done so yet by clicking the following link. Product Support | Dell US
You could also revert back to the version of Windows you had before if you can't get the driver to work. How to downgrade Windows 10: Uninstall Win 10 & reinstall Windows 7, 8 - How-To - PC Advisor

Yeah I just ended up reverting back to Windows 7. Which is a real shame.
